question about online-multiplaying
i'm new to online multiplaying. in fact, i'm new to multiplaying civ2 as a whole and now i'm wondering if there are some freeplay sites. what i mean is that you don't have to play in a tournament or a tribe or something like that, but where you can practice multiplaying so that later on i can think about entering a tournament. if someone could give me some tips where to find such IP-adresses, thanx alot.

go there, get a zone name, and play people.
get practice, meet people, and then when Civ3 comes out, throw Civ2 cd out the window and buy Civ3

where can i find this?
i tried to join a game on zone but i got an alert that i don't have civ2 online (TM) installed on my hardrive. where can i get this???

I don't think you should throw II away.
There should be an automatic message and redirect to guide you to Zone required program.
