If the last week was a Civ II MP Game...
...what would the game be like?
No peace treaty would have been broken.
No encroachment by allie.
There would be a damaged reputation by the subject player, but they would already have that, and it doesn't matter in MP anyway.
Would it make for a better SP game?

You know what would happen. All the other Civ players would ban together.
Civ games do reflect life, and how we're raised.

I disagree. The other players in Civ would rejoice in the weakening of the attacked Civ (by a barbarian city, no doubt) and attempt to take advantage of the situation.
Life is not like Civ. It better NOT be...

I would assume that should this situation have been a civ MP diplogame that other civilizations would have tried to lend money in return for land, or favorable deals. I guess that would mean they took advantage economically

Ok, if this was a civ game :
1. Duel:::: Other player would have sat back and watched the Barbarians attack and rejoiced
2. Arena:::: The allies would send gold to rebuild the lost city improvments , the other team would rejoice
3. Diplo ::::: The Internet connection would break down jsut before the barbs attacked and the city would be safe, but all the players would be abusing the Phone companies !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I guess a good question would be: if you were a Civilization observing this barbarion attack in another civ, what would your response be, if any?
Cave, yeah I'm ok, istopped working at the trade center 2 weeks ago : ). I did mention my safety in the thread that was made for DC and NY apolytoners. Hope you didn't know anyone affected.

Not that i want to jinx this thread, but i'm surprized the authoritarian MarkG hasn't closed this down yet.
Don't hold your breath.

I see it as pretty much a diplo game.
It's gotten to the point where you have bombers, and the rogue spy bribes a bomber, and bombs your city.
In this diplo game, wouldn't you be outraged in mass?

Because MarkG shut down a Cavebear thread about Civ III MP here, and just shut down a similar one by Cold Wizard just now.
Then yesterday, he shut down a Is Bush an MP or SP Player?, asking me if I had lost track of how many MP vs. SP polls I had started.
The answer would have been no I hadn't lost track, as that was the only MP vs. SP poll of any kind I'd ever posted.
I couldn't answer though, since the thread was locked.
(damn Greek ****er, mutters SlowwHand, as he shuffles off to see what other mischief he can get into)
W-a-n-k, is on the no-go list?

You can't say **** now?
What about s****y new clothes? (i.e. s-w-a-n-k-y)
**** has been banned now too.
So if i wanted to go to the off-topic forum and talk about a good movie I just saw: Austen Powers: The spy who ****ged me I wouldn't be able to. Sheesh.
Or if I wanted to talk about that killer TV show Scooby-doo. And Scooby's best friend ****gy the burn-out hippie guy, I couldn't do that either. Zoinks.

The Spy who Shugged Me Though word is probalby a little too far!!
