the leader faces were done in Lightwave ( proof), so i guess the units were rendered in it too.
luckily, i know lightwave.

Downloaded it lastnight, could only find 6.5 at the moment, dunno what 7 is like, but *shrug*
I will have a go at it soon, been a long time since I've done 3D work
And Col, I imagine the learning curve to be very steep, so sure you could probably make some very ugly models, but to do some professional ones, will take at least a year of experience (provided art is a second nature to you).

When the first site was up they had leader animations and unit animations that were in shockwave. Is this not the program they are using? Or is shockwave not an animation program.
