Civ III and MGS2(just have to hope Konami doesn't decide to delay it in light of the recent terrorist attack).

Next time put this type of thread in the Other Games forum.
(Expecting that it will be appropriately moved eventually, I will answer the question)
I also will be looking forward to Republic: The Revolution and Empire Earth. They both look really interesting. Of course I don't have the time or money to get all three games so maybe my mom will get me a nice present for Christmas and my birthday.

No just those that have just joined ACS have to be told about what else is around here and where to put these threads. It makes the whole place much more organized and easier to read. So no need to shame them, just explain it to those that are new.

The problem I always have is the time to play more than the money. How, but how will I manage to play more than a couple of games at a time ??? I really hope to find a way to be deeply commited to Civ3 and MoO3 towards 2002-2003 if they become great and addictive. Unfortunately, in order to do that I must forget the so promising Empire Earth ( unless they're making a demo ) and perhaps SW Galaxies...

yeah, yeah, civ 3 may be out then but IMO it'll be only half a game and therefor not worth buying
but keep saying it, maybe you'll convince me

Keep your wallet in your pocket and visit
http://www.nethack.org/v331/index.html
for a download.
At first sight this is an innocuous and out-dated game, but I have many expensive new games that I have hardly played. This is my current favourite.

Yep I think your right.. man that thing looks sweet. I'm having a hard time deciding... X-box vs. new (upgraded) computer. And this isn't being sarcastic either.

CivIII of course!
I am one of the hand picked beta testers for Empire Earth, and if you like Age of Empires, this game is definately for you!
The others I know nothing about.

Have you seen Falcon's Eye? Some programmer made a 3/4 Isometric, "Diablo" style graphics engine that runs off of Nethack source. It's free, too.
http://falconseye.sourceforge.net/index.html
Bad news is I haven't been able to get it to run on my Win2K machine here at work, even though it says it's supported.
It *LOOKS* pretty damn impressive to me, though, especially as a one-man freeware project.
