and moved smartly on to Mark13.
it's coming up for 3 months or so since Christmann went ofline for 'a couple of weeks"
I can play on indefinitely until (if) his return, or we can post for a permanent replacement.
What do you guys want to do?

Googlie, I would say that the choice is up to you. I am all for you continuing to play on, if you wish. But, certainly don't feel obligated to hold the spot for Christmann, since it is pretty obvious that he will not be returning.

In what seems to be a continuation of the bug posted earlier, the game now seems to be asking for Black Sunrise rather than Ironwood (??). I've sent the turn to both, but I've never seen this happen before, it's quite strange...
Maybe the turn order has somehow changed?

If you do need a replacement player, I would be happy to step in.

I echo what Qantaga said but I would welcome HObbes taking over if that is what is decided.

Problem may have resolved itself.
It asked for Quantaga, the correct next player.
Move sent.

2116 sent to DiDad.
Here's yet another strange occurence in this game. I never played 2115. The game went from 2114 to 2116. I'm not too concerned about this, but it makes me wonder if someone retired from the game? That's the only way I can think of that the game could have skipped a year.

I never played 15 either.
I got that move for SITS, which was supposed to be a move for me, 15, to be exact, and was 16 for her.
Oh, well, who cares? Lets play, see if we can catch up for lost time.

2117 to Lady SITS
We never saw 2115, either, but it doesn't seem that anything happened. So the year just vanished.

Turn 2117 to Googlie
Well, I played 2115 and saved it for CM/Googlie. I've opened both and they are 2115...

2117 to Mark
(and I got both 2115 and 2116 and played both and sent on to Mark - at least that's my assumption as on saving I bring up the last turn, delete, change the year and save, and my deleted files have both a 2115 and a 2116 so I'm inferring that I played the respective turns then renamed the year for the Mark save)

Again, it's asked for Black Sunrise - Ironwood hasn't retired, has he? That's the only explanation I can think of...
Whatever, 2117 to Black Sunrise.

2117 to DiDad.
Mark, Ironwood must have retired. That is the only thing that I have ever seen that would cause the game to skip a year and it does explain why it is asking for Black Sunrise at the end of your turn now.
It's really a shame, though. I wish he would have let us find a replacement, since the allure of this game is role-playing all seven factions. Oh well, at least six will move a little quicker.

I haven't been on the boards for awhile but I'm wondering where this game is up?

SITS, I sent 2119 to you on December 27 of last year. That's the last I know of it.
Let's get back up to speed and re-start the RP posts!

Ironwood, retired?
If I did, it must've been an accident. I certainly didn't intend to.
Nonetheless, if the game has booted me out, so be it. I've still got my Alien Crossfire game going.

What's going on in the game? Is *anything* going on in the game, or is it dead? I'm still not convinced I'm actually out. It would be a real shame if this game died.

Wow, the turn showed up in my e-mail today.
2119 sent to DiDad.

Well, it seems very unfair if Ironwood hasn't retired that he should be simply booted out of the game like that....what does Googlie make of it all? Should we go back to 2114?
2120 to Black Sunrise in the meantime..

Don't worry about it. This game has been held up long enough as it is. Just, Googlie, remember that I'm here if one of your other RP games (or this one, for that matter) needs a replacement, particularly if it's the Morgans or the Spartans.

A retirement woul dbe very difficult to undo. But having one fewer player will speed up the turns considerably!

Googlie does still post here.
I think the problem is that Black Sunrise has vanished. Hobbes did volunteer as a replacement a few posts up, so maybe we can get him to take over Black Sunrise's position. This has the makings of a good game, so hopefully we can revive it.
I'll send a note to Hobbes and Googlie to see if we can kickstart things.
