Suggestion: Civ III Window Blinds Theme!
Now, I always thought it was bad and will crash my PC but after isntalling it found that it's a pretty cool thing allowing you to control your windows API appearance.
I found a theme very close to the site's design, a pic of which I indclude here.
Could the people at Firaxis who do themes make a WindowBlinds theme as well? To make it look like ingame - same menus and same textboxes graphics!
It'll only help promotion as I will feel I play Civ III 24/7 and even those who don't watch me play civ will become intrigued.
Or maybe apolyton's free graphicers could help?

That's a great idea! I'd download it!

I agree but only if this comes out after Civ3 is released. For the time being I wouldn't want Firaxis' people's minds anywhere else than in the game itself.

Again, I agree with PGM. I think its great for firaxis to work on a bunch of weird stuff that possibly cheapens their profession, after civ 3's done. I'd also like to see them posting new civs, because they said they would be downloadable.

How can a civ be downloadable?
And hey, if they have time to work on Windows Themes, they might as well work on this...

That's a great idea, normaly there only exists such skins to winamp and such, but I'd sure like to see one for windows, I hope the skin will work with the skin system in win XP
What I thought as I saw the headline for the msg was more like being able to make skins to Civ3 so Civ3 doesn't have to look alike on all machines, I'd say that could be cool

Well, it looks as if my opinions have been voiced by everyone else already.
This idea is superb, but devepment of it should wait until the polished game has hit the shelves.
Nothing new from me, just wanted to add my praise for the idea.
