Aztecs, what in the world.
Aztecs,

What is up with Montezuma? A tie? Comeon!

And why are they even done with the Aztecs now. If we are gonig according to rise of Power, the Aztecs didn't even rise till the 1300's.

This is sad.

Anyone know how I can download the animations(flash) from the Firaxis homepage. You know the Civ III animations, I want them.

Anyone have the old leader shockwaves from the first Civ III website?

FYI, the leader pictures change with the ages, so what we are looking at is probably the modern age Montezuma. I think I saw a picture of Hammurabi wearing a suit and a top hat somewhere...

Hey...I agree with SP. Aztecs shouldnt have been in Civ2. They were nothing but Refugee mayans arriving in fertile land thousands of years after traveling.

Actually nobody knows what happened to the mayans, but that is the prevailing theory. No natives in the area could have one day gotten the idea to drain swamps and fill in a lake.....soembody with some real good hinesight about this stuff was involved - The Mayans

The Aztecs are in because in Civ 1 they needed them to spread the civs out of Africa/Europe and Asia, and that hasn't changed. And in the short time they existed, they were extremely rich and powerful.

Yeah, But I would prefer to see them displayed in their customary style. Anyway, I haven't seen that anywhere, and I have almost all the pictures I know of on my harddrive.

I don't doubt them being in. That's a given. I would just like him not wearing a suit. I want an authentic picture of Montezuma for my Civ III collection on my computer.

The Hammurabi picture was in CGW. It also showed Honest Abe in his Ancient garb, he had a really funny hat.

Just noticing that of all the civs the Aztecs seem to have the most Colorful title. You know at the top of each civ it says, like Babylonians, the aztecs have a very cool title gif.

So when the Aztecs discover Space Flight, you want the leader to wear a grass skirt?

It doesn't fit, sir.

Yup, and the Americans should start 4000 b.c. in 3-piece suits, under a Democracy.
