Fleshing out new civs
This thread (hopefully) will help in "fleshing" out the the civs that are being voted for in the "X-Pac Civs (Part three) thread. Please only include civs that have been voted for in that thread. Also please do not randomly post sh*t here. One last thing, it's OK to have more than one interpretation of things that a civ should have, any disagreements though should be held somewhere else (like a new thread) Alright I'll start off.
Neanderthal Civ -
Leader: Ugg (Well known for inventing fire)
Capital: Cave Lugghuh
Other Cities: Cave 1, Cave2, etc.
UU: Fire Wielder (randomly sets terrain or self on fire)
Great Leaders:
Glump (although he was eaten by wolves, no one mated more females)
Mlugh (Need I say more?)
Glarg (Ugg's son, and ruler of 15 hunters)

Minoan civilization
Alright, I haven't noticed this thread, so I posted the following stuff in the main "civs for expansion" thread... but here is the right place for it.
so, the Minoan civilization:
Civilization that has risen circa 2600 BC in the Island of Crete. Pre-Greek, or Proto-Greek (the archeologists seem to have a tough one trying to figure out wether the Minoans had or had not a connection with the Greek). The Minoan ships (light vessels but able to travel fast and in the open sea) ruled the Eastern Mediteranean for no less than 1.000 years, having established very close relations with Egypt and various civilizations in the eastern med.
They seem to have traveled as far as the British islands. The Minoan civilization had suffered extensive damage due to the massive explosion (greater in a large scale than the one in Krakatoa, if you happen to know what that means) of the volcano at the island of Santorini (quite close to Crete) and they never recovered. A bit later the Achaens (Greek civ, known as "Mycenean" 1900 - 1100 BC - those who fought at Troy) managed to subdue the Minoans and the latter gradually melted into the Mycenean civilization.
Leader: King Minos
Capital: Knossos
Cities: Knossos, Faistos, Olus, Zakros, Tylissos, Gortys, Gournia, Mallia, Eleftherna, Levinas, Aradin, Lato, Itanos, Lefki, Ierapytna... should I go on?
Unique unit: A kind of upgraded trireme (not very accurate historicaly, because the trireme came aftre the 8th century BC but... what is in that game accurate anyway?)

For some reason, the Galactic Empire civ looks suspiciouly similar to the Neantherthal civ. Isn't a Death Star just a new type of Fire Wielder?
We have come far indeed

OK, fine...
UU: Death Star (can instantly destroy a city, but only one can be in the world at any given time and is easily susceptible to an attack by partisans)
Better?
Oh, BTW, the Mac comes from my last name, which is Irish.

For the hobbits, I think archers would be a beter unit, with a very high defense cause they're brave lil bastards who won't be a runnin away.
for the orcs, the Uruk Hai. High attack, low defense, good movmenet.
Elves, sounds good, but increase the movement. them pointy eared ****** run fast. har har har. especially when me Orcs are a chasing em. Wagh!
Dwarves, Moria is more important to the dwarves than the lonely mountain. They had other cities before moria, but none as great.
And thorin? Please. Durin Deathless is da dwarf to rule for all eternity.

thanks for the suggestions, i knew thorin wasnt a national leader of the dwarves, i forgot all about durin. i will leave the elf UU alone. it treats all squares as road, and has double movement in forest. the hobbit archer idea is good, but i dont know how often hobbits actually used bs and as...
any suggestions for civ attributes?
