We've ruined your life....again!
I just downloaded and watched the Civ3 preorder video. If the game is half as good as the video makes me think, my life WILL be ruined
and I'll be loving every minute of it

I would say that if they put as much time into the AI and combat as they did making the animated world leaders it should be in good shape

I agree totally Madine.
My favorite quote in the video is from Mike Gibson,
(if you've just purchased civ3) "don't plan on doing anything meaningful with your life for the next six to nine months"

I think buying Civ 2 caused one girlfriend to break up with me, I sure hope it doesn't happen again this time.

The worst part is that it wasn't even civ or civ2 or SMAC or CTP or ctp2 or even Europa Universalis that ruined my life the first time, it was a hormonal imbalance coupled with crippling shin splints that limited my mobility, first to short walks, then to periods of time sitting upright outside and now, to my motorbath.
Like my uncle says "don't paint the fence when you know it's gonna rain" which means you have to prepare for what you see coming, but how was I supposed to know that I would be genetically predisposed to gain like that?
Ha, though. I bet this game is going to be good! No shocks for me with my new keyboard!
