I did not try the first EU. I was scared off by the talk of its difficult to use interface. But the concept of the game seems so intriguing. If EU II lives up the review's statement that it is "streamlined", I'm pretty sure I'll be getting it.

Well if you run into any problems, guys like Vel will no doubt provide excellent help. I'll mainly be trying to get him to write yet another guide book.
