They are both browser based empire managment games, Earth 2025 is modern-near future (as you can tell by the name) and you build your country up, go to war ect ect, Utopia is fantasy based and invloves more teamplay, where you are a province within a kingdom, and the kingoms are usually what go to war with eachother, though provinces can act independantly.

It can be quite a bit of fun, if you are into that sort of thing... and don't get stuck in a kingdom with a bunch of retards.

I've been thinking of going back to play those, myself... anyone know of some similiar games?

*sigh* I just started up a kingdom in Utopia, looks like I got stuck with a bunch of retards (the forum is full of people saying "I WANT TO BE THE MONARCH!!! PLZ VOTE FOR ME!!! IVE BEEN PLAYING A LONG TIME!!! THNX")

Oh well, guess I can start a civil war and see if I can root them out.

I signed up last night as a General Elf. I exist in 16:43. My Kingdom appears to copntain several new folk, but be reasonably sensible.

You used to be able to pick your kingdom, but they took that out and made it so you can choose to stay in your kingdom when a new age starts, but I think they took that out recently, too.

Several kingdoms have members with stikingly similar names - so I think you could keep Kingdoms this round.

Osweld - extreme measure I know, but you could defect.

I'm an Elven General. I plan to focus mainly on the mystic arts, but I'll probably use my General's attributes to do conquest attacks with a slightly smaller army than standard.

We're currently at war, which is a tad annoying. I need more land, but don't have the strength to go attacking, and I don't want to explore while we're at war. Still I got some thievery and Spell casting in, so my honors up 8 points from what it started as.

There's also a large database of similiar games here.

It's not easy to navigate through the huge selection they have though, it's really hit and miss to find a good game amongst them all.
