Archive History of the World part 2
I strongly, strongly, strongly recommend that ALL of the HOTW2 threads be archived. This is THE game when it comes to Diplogaming. This game started in early spring or late winter of this year and is STILL GOING! This is a huge game which has generated more posts than anything else i can imagine.
It would truly be a tragedy if any of these threads were lost and deleted. Surely the moderators must realize the value of this game and these threads, please protect them and save them by archiving them before it is too late.
So again to MarkG or Ming or whoever: Archive these threads!!

we dont have archives anymore, in the sense of the ubb archives.
we do take backups of the forums though.
to be really safe, i would suggest saving the threads on your computer(the better thing to do would be save the "printer friendly" version)

Just to follow up on MarkG's answers...
Unlike the old forums where we used to go in and delete old threads and archive the ones worth archiving... That doesn't happen here anymore. All threads remain available. You may have to change your settings so you can view more than the last few weeks, but they are ALL still there.

Ahhh... OK, cool.
I wasn't aware of how that changed in the forum switch over. So are the old archived threads still available?
And how does one save a thread? The game has a webpage and it'd be cool to save all the threads on there, do y'all know how to do that?
Thanks for answering.

To the best of my knowledge, there is a saved copy of them. However, there is no way for a poster to currently access them.
MarkG will have to answer what their plan is for them, or correct any misstatement I might have made

You can go into a thread, right click "show a printable version", select "save target as" and it will save the thread as an html file.
