Dan will see me and scream, push the "UberKruX Alarm" located in every hallway, and tell Sid to activate the eject pods and the nerve gas. And i will die, crawling for the door, with a civ3 cd in my hand.

in all honesty, i would really like to meet Sid and shake his hand.
somebody down at firaxis should make this happen.
or if you want to be FAIR, make a "meet sid mier" contest/lan thing. i know i'd go.

Probably not...He probably playes civ3 all day and night, and has people come and bring him food.

And if he had any reason to leave the safe bunker he would have ten bodyguards.

Re: Direct Contact
Yeah, I live about 15-20 minutes away, though I seriously doubt Firaxis will be terribly interested to visit at any length with just an old Civ-Freak like myself.
Maybe I'll drop by sometime this comming week and see if I can reason with them
Any suggestions about a method of insertion?
P.S. To any Firaxians lurking out there. Be assured that you are safe, no extra security required

You should go to their building and ask for a tour of their offices. Then at the end of the tour, slip a copy of civ3!!!

If I actually lived near Firaxis headquarters, I would be sure to bring them coffee and doughnouts every morning, and maybe applepie in the afternoon.

Me: "Uhhhh, pizza delivery?"
Guy at door: "Uh, hey, Sid, did you order a pizza?"
Sid: "What kind is it?"
Me: "Mushroom?"
Sid: "Really! Heck yeah I ordered a pizza!"
Guy at door: *grumbling* "I 'always' end up paying for food"
*Mission Impossible Theme starts playing in the background*
*I push a secret button that makes the pizza box emit a sleeping gas and put on a gas mask*
Me: "Hahahahhahaha, now I can get a copy of Civ 3!"
Sid: "Why is everyone falling asleep, YOU'RE ALL GOING TO GET FIRED!"
Me: "Uhhh, you're not falling asleep?"
Sid: "Of course not, I don't sleep, I'm a cyborg."
Me: "Okaaaaay, will you give me a copy of Civ3?"
Sid: "NO! Now go back and buy thirty more copies of Civ2 and SMAC."
Me: "OK, master......"

Nah, the Firaxians have probably stopped reading this thread long ago.
This thread is a result of them having us wait to long for Civ 3

#include "stdio.h"
int main(){
while(1) printf("I want Civ3!\n");
return 0;
}
edit: While it technically isn't correct to use "" for the #include, it isn't treated as a vB taf, and does still compile, atleast for my compiler.
