Combat Bonuses?
Does anyone know if there is combat bonuses like in SMAC? Like Cavarly/Armor gets +20% when attacking in open, Infantry gets +?? vs. units in a city, Artillery/Catapult gets bonus when bombarding a unit below (from mountain or hill), etc...

This could really make difference between units: As you know, Egyptian War Chariot and Babylonian Bowman have equal stats, but if chariot would get some bonuses...

Dont' know about specific units, but in the "making of" video they mentioned defensive AND offensive bonuses for certain terrain types.

As the resident self-proclaimed CivII combat expert, I can assure you people will be testing for this sort of thing right from the start! If CivII is any indication, the manual will not be a reliable source of info. Even so, we'll do our best to sniff out what the bonuses are...
