Industrious Civ and the Weather Paradigm
I'm wondering just how powerful the "workers work faster" element of the Industrious Civ is. Is it as powerful as the Weather Paradigm in SMACx, which doubled your terraforming rates?
I doubt it, but you never know.

I would hope not double, but a lower bonus such as a 1.5 multiplier would be nice.

And, of course, we will know, but it's going to be about a month yet.

BTW, I've got to change my signature, 'cause it seems I'm going to buy a Wintel machine right about release time -- just for Civ3.

Weather paragdim doesn't double the terraforming rate; it increases the speed of terraforming by 50%. So it's the same Jaybe suggested: 1.5 multiplier

The Weather Paradigm also allows you to perform transformations not yet discovered.

I like the idea of my workers working faster than other civs workers
Gotta get that road network built.
