I got the transparency working.

This is just a stupid idea I had during a lecture, a "light free zone". I'm afraid of sunlight so it seems like an appropriate avatar for me.

Incidentely I may as well add a short blurb about why I decided to spam. I've been on apolyton for about a year, and mostly lived in the AC Strategy section. Well, when the avatars first came out I thought "sweet, a few more months and I'll be here for a year and be able to change", I was also quite fond of the fusion engineer avatar, so was in no particular hurry.
Anyway, a year rolls by and the rules have changed  so begins my spamming frenzy in which my post average goes up from 1.2 per day to 1.4 per day over a couple of days.
I estimate I got 80 posts in the last week, which is about 15% of my post total.
So basically I spammed because I felt I deserved an avatar after a year of being an honest law abiding Apolyton'er.
I also intend to restart the drinking game thread some time, probably earlier in the day so it can hang around for longer and get more coverage.

I want my custom avatar too!!! I've been here for 2.5 years and I really feel I deserve it. For a long time, I just lurked and made a few meaningful posts now and then. I'd think of a good response to some post but would rather read a different thread than spend time posting.
BTW, if I had just registered about a month earlier, I would be "Dec 1969" I was lurking during at that time too. O well.

Well, I want to resize my avatar to the new 80x80 dimension limit. I also have a bunch of ideas for avatars that I can't decide on, so I was planning to have an "Elect my Avatar" poll-thread to let the people of Apolyton choose my avatar. But that can't happen until I get to 500.
