If you are interested I can post TSFE 1.2 rules and events files for the PBEM. Then you can use them from Winter 1940 on.
In rules the main change compared to the original version is that all infantry units are stronger. Other changes will appear mostly after 1942 and are connected with better balance between units strenghts/costs.
In events negotiations are allowed for all nations and nobody is forced to go to war with anybody. More events are added, like rebellion in Iraq in April 1941 (Axis gets some free cavalry and homeguard units there). I liked Henrik's text message for capture of Geneva and his idea of extracting money from Allies for each sank transport (After 1941 there is much better reason to sink these transports than money. ). So I added these to the events also.
I didn't add event which takes 100 gold from Axis for each sank submarine. If you all like it then I can add this also. But in my opinion it makes submarines too costly for Axis and better is to build destroyers instead.
So, if I get positive feedback from all of you then I will post the files. And you can load them up in November 1940.

Well im glad you liked the events, I added the axis money loss simply to make it fair (im playing the axis myself, so I'd better not give me advantages, but I agree out of a historical perspective).
Feel free to post the files, atleast I would love to use a more recent version.
Now that you are "here" though I would like to know the reason for the really low defence of the meschersmidts, I mean, the spitfires have about 8 defence (I think) and the meschersmidts has 2, the difference shouldnt be that big...

Can anyone say Battle o' Britain?
Perhaps this is to lead you into developing the Fw-190 for defense of the Fatherland. With its high altitude capability and multiple cannon armaments, it was the tool for defense, whilst the Bf-109 can be thought of as their 'aggressive' fighter.
This is really great news Marko regarding TSFE 1.2!!! Can't wait to see the upgrades!

Portuguese Patriots Decry Spanish Treachery
Portugal, recently attacked by the heinous Spanish, has decried their violent and unnecessecary acts upon us and patriotic guerillas have taken to the hills around Lisbon and off the coast stating that they will liberate Portugal, one way or another.
Switzerland Maintains Strict Neutrality
Switzerland announced again today that it would be remaining neutral throughout the conflict and would not be getting involved in any way whatsoever. Unofficially, Swiss banks have begun to hold Nazi funds for safekeeping.
Swedish Army Continues Buildup
The Swedish Armed Forces continue their steady buildup as a constant reminder to themselves as a flashpoint between the Soviet Union and German Reich. Almost all new equipment is that of heavy defenses, making any assault into the country a casualty nightmare to those who would attempt it.
Turkish Army Placed on High-Alert
The Turkish Army, Navy and Airforce has been placed on high-alert following the German attack on Greece and troops in and around Istanbul have begun fortifying positions. The Turkish government has made it clear that as a neutral nation they will not tolerate the movement of Allied or German troops on their soil.

Here are the files. You can simply overwrite existing TSFE files with these ones.
I made a special BAT file for the PBEM. In order to load up new Summer or Winter files, you have to
1. save your game as EU.net,
2. run the PBEM.bat and select the right date.
The program generates correct rules and events as well as units, terrain and sound files. It also deletes old events from EU.net file (I don't know how DELEVENT works in Mac).
Winter files are always loaded in November and Summer files in March.
You can load new Summer 1940 files in August or wait until November and load then Winter 1940/41.

Here are new units. Unit icons 1940-43 are unchanged, so I didn't add these. One new infantry is added and 2 tanks are removed.
Sorry for Henrik I removed Sweden Stridsvagn tank because it was frustrating for Soviet player to have KV-85 tanks upgraded to Stridsvagn. Now KV-85 is upgraded to IS-3.

Henrik asked why Me-109 has weak defence in the scenario. It is because I didn't want to Germans have good air defence before researching FW-190.
It is more like design concept about balance between German fighters and Allied bombers. At the beginning Allies have weak bombers and Germany has Me-109. Later Allies get better bombers and Germans FW-190 to counter them. At the end Allies start using super-heavy bombers and Germans will get jet fighters.
BTW, in version 1.2, defence of Me-109 has been raised to 5. It is just rarely enough to defend against Allied basic bombers.

The Allies stand strong!
July 1940
England prepares for the worst
After paradrops of German Fallschirmajagers, the destruction of many factories in the surrounding London countryside, has the English Fire Squads in full force putting out the fires before they spread.
New pictures of the surrender of Drunkerk
British soldiers being escorted by the evil NAZI SS.
The Battle of the North Sea heats up!!
As the battle over control of the North Sea heats up, casualties are mounting on both sides.
Earlier today a german convoy of Cruisers was destroyed by the HMS King George.
North Afrika
As the war rages on in Europe, North Afrika is quite on the Eastern Front.
While German Afrika Korps make advancements into French North Afrika, there is little or no conflict on the Eastern Front.
GREECE!
In a major counter-offensive, the Allied Army of Greece conquered the NAZI occupied city of Tirane. Creating the only NAZI starting pad in the city of Petrai.

Civ3, girlfriends, mid-terms etc..
The Soviet Armed Forces suffered a terrible internal incedent. There was a coup, by some capitalist sympathisers within the ranks of our very own Glorious Red Army. It was dubbed the 'Cntrl-N Coup', and all participants were summereily shot on the spot. We are now conducting investigations to see just how high this attrocious plot agaisn the Worker's State was. We have reason to believe that many officers in several branches may have ties to this incedent. We are currently exploring all options.
In the month of July, we spent time merely reorganizing after the attempted coup. Only casualties were internal, and due to units that were shot (disbanded because of production change by the AI) by the NKVD.
Game sent and posted here as well.
-Vasily Kleshnikov.
EDIT: Scott, I hope you have recieved my email... I have changed the file posted here to the one i sent you in an email labeled 'URGENT!!!!'. You can use either one to continue.

Hi there!
No post for long time. How the game is going?
I have played some TSFE multiplayer games with my friends in hotseat (but human players only as Axis, Allies and Soviets or even Allies and Soviets are controlled by same person). So I looked this game with big interest...
