Any victory, nothing excluded.

In Civ I and II I never set the game on bloodlust, although I did won most games by conquering all. Also in SMAC I left always all options on and based on the circumstances I made some choices.

So yes, open ended. I did not answer the poll, because this option was not available.

I think this!

I think any Victory within the first twenty-four hours is going to be something.

But I digress, the cultural aspect of the game is going to be an interesting addition to the game.

I can only hope once multiplayer is added that we get an improvement over past attempts at this, as they were cumbersome and creakingly slow. And then that should make victory conditions interesting.

But all in all, kicking every Civ's butt, in all out war, is going to feel good under my opressive race of Super Apes. (oops... forgot they aren't in this game.)

Oh well, back to the drawing board!!!

This would mean wiping out everyone else, but still only controlling less than half (or whatever percent they decide on) of the land.

Never saw this happen in CivII, at least not in a game with a decent amount of players. I concede it's possible, but not likely.

whatever I can, but I think it will be UN victory, as it was my favorite VC in SMAC.

So far, a majority have gone for the traditional ways of winning. I chose conquest myself, but eventually will try them all.
