Help with Tech Tree
I'm doing a little project with the technology tree at gamespot but I can't make out the following technologies:

Middle Ages:

1) The first three techs in the tree.
2) After Invention and before Chemistry
3) After Democracy
4) After Banking

Industrial Era:

1) Bottom first tech
2) Dead end tech after bottom first tech
3) Tech after Scientific Method
4) Tech after Steam Power (Not Industrialization)
5) Tech after tech after Scientific Method
6) Tech after tech after tech after Scientific Method
7) Tech after Flight

Modern Era:

1) Tech before Stealth (Looks like Synthetic ---)
2) Both techs after miniaturization

Or Firaxis could go out of its way to give us clearer tech tree shots...

What do they mean by 'Scientific Method'? Hasn't all science and technology had a method to use it?

The Scientific Method (note capitals) is a standard form for research:

Problem: A question (why? how?)
Hypothesis: Educated guess (look at evidence and make a statement to --- you think something happens)
Procedure: How you plan to test the hypothesis.
Observation: Record what you see.
Conclusion: The answer to the question.

Stuie, thank you VERY much!
