Baaaaaaaa.....!
So, what about little ol' New Zealand, way down in the bottom of the southern hemisphere?
You might be interested that Alpha Centauri came out here a week before the US. Could we ben getting Civ III here on October 23?
Well, we're the first in the world to get the sun...

Thank you Firaxis for making for what appears to be a fantastic Civ3. Many people (including myself once in a while) harped on all of you for various reasons. The only thing you could have done is kept us more informed about Civ3 over this past summer (do you know how bored I was ). Overall, I think you did a great job and hopefully you have further plans in the series of Civ3. Whether that be an expansion pack or quite possibly Civ4.

Exactly - I recon the only European nations who get a localized version are Germany, France and Spain. Why does the rest of Europe need to wait for their version to be produced when in the end we'll just get the US version anyway?!?!?!
Hell, I think a lot of players who have the choice between a localized and the US version will choose the latter anyway.

Wow, they really ripped you off. Who did you order from? CB shipment is USD 71....
I sincerely hope that they ship LE first I cannot allow some Yanks and Brits to play the game while I slowly go mad...
So every day between 10th and 20th of November is gonna be the day. Luckily I already served my army duty so I am used to counting the last few days

That's what I hoped too
FYI, the guys in Dose (a Finnish computer game store) told me that Civ3 is hitting shelves first in November 13th...

Well poly time will have to be cut back on the release of civ3 for a while with sporadic updates and the like. Also the computers around here aren't fast enough for civ3, this thing is lethargically slow. I would rather play on my fast computer in the comfort of my own home. Better start stockpiling food on my computer desk

Oh yeah baby
Time to get one of those small fridges and install it next to my computer and stock up with soft drink, food that requires little effort (preferably can be imbibed via a straw to avoid my hands having to move away from the keyboard and mouse). Dammit, I work in a hospital, I'll just get an IV line and some bags of saline and glucose, should keep me going for days without having to leave the computer Better get a few shots of caffeine as well in that lot

Great News!
THANKS FIRAXIS!
I'm all excited! I just hope it will arrive in the Netherlands soon after or 30/10. I pre-ordered the LE edition. I just hope the terrorist actions will not delay the delivery....
If that happens, I'll start a jihad against them!

Just as long as you guys give us a quality well done review. And let us know as soon as you can whether MP was included.

Uh oh...
What am I going to do with myself... I have waited for civ3 for so long, the gnawing anticipation is now a part of my very being. Although I am excited about the release of the game, I sense an existential crisis on the horizon. Life suddenly seems meaningless...
