Some claryfying offical info is needed!
Thats it!
Since Civ-3 now officially have gone gold, theres no point anymore in suggesting any minor ideas, no matter how small and easy to implement they are. I suspected for a while, that they perhaps would postpone the final release-date, to november or even early december (well, it has happened before with other highly anticipated games, you know). If so, there would still be some limited time left.
I hope though, that we at least still can squeeze out some extra clarifying information though, from Firaxians visiting the place from time to time, the next couple of weeks until the final store-release. Otherwise, more serious topics is likely to temporarily dwindle, perhaps.
Question nr 1:
Mobilized economy affects the cost of units and city-improvements, yes. But what type of costs exactly? Is it economical support-costs, or is it shield-related build-costs? Or both?
Question nr 2:
Is it possible to save & reload your own and other peoples "summary replays"? Is it possible to download/upload the replays as seperate playable files?
Feel free to add your own questions on already released feature-info, that according to you needs some additional official comments, in order to be fully understood. But, please avoid whining "why no MP" type of questions - instead concentrate on claryfying the stuff we already know about. At least under this particular topic.

Question nr 3:
What are the exact gameplay effects of Civ3´s governments (despotism, monarchy, republic, communism, democracy)?

Question nr4:
How exactly will nuclear weapons work in Civ3? How powerful will they be? Will some form of M.A.D. be in the game?

Question 7
Could you just post the fabled 256 page manual online? It's only a month after all, and I'm fairly sure Apolyton would find room for it somewhere.

That's no potato- it's a space station.
I am wondering about the exact effects of the culture sytem. Any more clarifying would be cool.

Are minor civs in? how do they relate to Barbarian encampments? Goody huts?
in other words, clarify if any of the three exist, how they function, and how they differ from each other

OT- potato TV
It is a unit in CTP. It is a subliminal advertising thing of some kind, IIRC. It projects subliminal ads to unsuspecting urbanites wilst avoiding detection.
