Gold... Ok, Now What Firaxis?
What's on the agenda now Firaxis? A little R and R?
I have an idea... why not have all of the developers come to this forum and talk with us, even if it's not on the game itself.

You are right, they most be working overtime again.
Good Dan could leave the game and get here to answer some questions.
If there is no MP they will probably work really hard until they have an alfa-MP-version and then they will start plying 20 hours a day.

No, we're just looking for Firaxis posters who haven't perfected the art of ambiguous posting without actually giving new information. Besides, we don't want that "sombrero of power" too get any bigger.

I am hoping for some more talk time with the devs eventually. Wether now or after game release, don't know. But it will be nice to be able to ask the Firaxis team about the game in a live chat.

I'm sure they all want and get to take a break from the game as they were probably working frantically to get it out the door. I have a friend who works for Bioware and just before Baldurs Gate II came out they were all working 16hr shifts 6 days a week to finish it. After it went gold they all got some well deserved time off. I think that is probably what is happening at Firaxis right now. Their all taking some time off to clear their minds so they can work on the Xpansion, patches, SimGolf without burning out.

They're prolly sitting around saying - "So, are we really going to include multiplayer in civ3?"
General consensus is - "nah, couldn't really be arsed doing that"

Thanks for everything Dan!
Dan: I really appreciated all the info from inside the "forbidden city" you gave us, at least that way there was some way to confirm things that where discussed on these forums.
Lets have a "Dan wonder" in Civ4

Dan... you'll always have a special place in our hearts!
I am very grateful for all of the information that you provided to us, and you've done a great job with the web site. The web site was more informative than I had anticipated, and it offered more information than many game developers.
Believe me, we'll never forget you!
