We LOVE the QUEEN!
If you choose "Female" and pick the French as your civilization will the WLTKingD be called WLTQueenDay? Since you will be forced to play as Joan d'Arc despite your gender, even if you are male?
-I am posting this here because the last thread got spammed

By the looks of it this thread deserved to be spammed. Just make a to-the-point attack on PC nuts, already!

I wish I had a copy of civ 3 right now so that I could tell you the answer. But if I did have a copy of civ 3 right now, why would I be wasting my time here?
Even if they do mess this up, it really doesn't matter. I'm not gonna be playing the French anyway.

Even though this is a minor topic, you are right in questioning the gender reference- seems silly to have 'We love the King' when Cleopatra is in charge.
A small detail, yes, but one I hope Firaxis didn't ignore. It just adds to the 'polish' of the game.

Actually, thats kind of realsitic. When Hapatshu (sp definately wrong) was the ruler of Egypt, she was referred to as 'King' as Egypt was a male-centric society.
