2152 to the Mariners.
Hey JPJ, I thought that elections were supposed to be publicized, so that we all have an opportunity to bribe each other.
 Bad JPJ
I move that you have to rebate your extra commerce income for the next 10 years or else we'll tell on you.

Now that you mention it i do remember reading that somewhere - my mistake then.
I'll give a turns' notice in this and other games from now on - 'cos the more i think about it the more it makes sense. Thanks for pointing it out.

I was gonna say something, but I figured your three-way pact would've had it all worked out anyway... By the way, I did vote for myself. Is it forbidden to try and bribe the AI factions (as opposed to using the "AI" to bribe a human-controlled faction, which I know to be a no-no) on your turn, from the council screen? I'm assuming it would be. This makes advance notice fairly important. As I said, I think JPJ was pretty much a shoe-in this time, but we should all try to remember in the future.

It will be a different story next time (2172) if you complete the Guild (Quadruple votes!)
I don't think it is unfair to bribe the other AI factions at the election on your turn - you could always get a head start by bribing them in advance of the election anyway.
To whom it concerns:
The Hive has seven bases
2 are building formers, 2 Synthmetal Garrisons and the rest are building Impact Infantry.
Anyway, where was i ? oh yeah 2153 to J

I agree that it is OK to bribe AI players in elections; probably wouldn't have made any difference.
What happened to that poor defenseless Yang that you guys said I wouldn't have any trouble with. If one of you has been running guns and I find out, I'll bring Miriam out from where I've been hiding her and flood all your bases with missionaries.

JPJ, if you've really got the clout, please broker that truce between me and Yang; I need a little more time to better take him on.

Most noble and honorable reverend good masters: I'm moving (back) to Colorado on Thursday, so I'll be unable to play turns again until Monday, probably. Sorry for the inconvenience.
JPJ: I still haven't gotten the turn, though I continue to receive turns from all my other games. I don't have an alternate address right now, but I'll try to set one up after I move.

61 to JDM.
Our recent attempts to build the Empath Guild were thwarted just in time through the efforts of those industrious Free Drones. We can't help but wonder if our foolish decision to trade Centauri Empathy to the University had anything to do with it...
