Just browsed through my local game store and of all DVD game boxes about 90 % had the characteristic "PC CDROM" label on top while 100% of normal boxes lacked such a label.
So IF the pic is up to date, which has been denied by several people, we will most certainly get a DVD box.
And about the double sized DVD box: I think most of them are in fact just two normal DVD boxes wrapped together, sharing one leaflet thus looking like a big one even from up close.
I still have hope, although i find DVD boxes quite handy.
