Custom Civs - Civ-Specific Abilities
Since we're going to be able to include custom civs using the editor, I assume we'll be able to set the civ-specific abilities for each one (militaristic, commercial, expansionist, scientific, religious, and industrious).

How about we start discussing the abilities of the civilizations that have been suggested? It took the Firaxis team a while to get the abilities right for the civilizations included in the game, so we might as well start now.

Here are the civs, with some of my suggestions:

1. Spanish (Expansionist)
2. Mongols (Militaristic)
3. Arab
4. Inca (Religious, Industrious)
5. Vikings (Militarisitic)
6. Turks/Ottomans
7. Phoenicians/Carthagians (Commercial)
8. Maya (Religious, Scientific)
9. Celts
10. Hebrew/Israeli
11. Dutch
12. Ethiopians/Aksumites
13. Portuguese
14. Poles
15. Koreans
16. Byzantines

Feel free to agree/disagree with my suggestions ... hopefully we'll be able to agree on the abilities by the time the game is released.
