Windows XP and SMAC

If anyone knows how to get SMAC to run on XP, share the wealth!

It won't even open for me - I get a black screen with two black rectangles in the center.

I don't know anything about XP, but according to some people around here, running it in a separate compatability mode (95, 98) might help.

For me it just worked after I installed SMAC, SMACX and the patch. I didn't have to do anything special.
