HI there. I am new here so please bear with me.
Hello there. I have tried to find this but couldn't find it anywhere. Will there be sea base we can construct like in Alpha Centuri and Call to Power?
Does anyone know what the combat system will be like? I cant find very much info on Civ III. I have checked the web site out and it dosnt say very much.
Thanks
Davor

Try this link:
www.Civfanatics.com
On the side of the main page, you'll see Civ III listed. Under that, choose "Info Center". It'll tell you all we know at this time.

I don't think sea bases are in civ 3, as sea-bases would be futuristic, which is not within the scope of this game.

Having never played SMAC or CtP, I don't know what a sea base is, but we think you have to build a harbor (symbolized by a little anchor) to build and dock ships.
The combat system is much more complex than Civ II. It is pretty well summarized here.

Sea cities in CTP2 were ok for a few turns, but then wrecked the game.
