Team Standings in the Forum Wars Series I Matches
Match # 1

ACOL ........... 688 points
CGN ............. 517 points
Apolyton ...... 471 points

(Audit year - 2125)

Match # 3

CGN .............. 677 points
ACOL ............ 556 points
Apolyton ....... 527 points

(Audit year - 2123)

I used a regression analysis model based on the algorithms developed for predicting scores on the Atherholt Trauma Function Test (remember that's the one that Yang scored .96 on)

Actually, I awarded team points for everything - ecs, techs, bases, population, military units, CPs (bases in waiting), AA's (techs in waiting) etc

Actual relativities between items might be debatable, but it'll be consistent for all 3 series and is (IMHO) a decent enough sore thumb guide to standings (Interstingly it is completely obverse to the combined AC scores from the f8 table, which confirms my misgivings about the value of Solver's ladder ratings system)

Wow, CGN in 1st, how did that ever happen! Probably because we feel so inferior that we are paying extra attention to detail early in the game. I hope the other 2 sets of factions in each take this as a measure of our true ability and decide to move against us, thinking that we are the teams to beat.

As for the turn threads, I noticed Googlie indicated on ACOL that all the official turn threads are here. Since they are not easily locatable (you guys here are just too popular), was wondering if a folder specific to the Forum Wars can be made so that players who don't often come here can find it easier. Just a query for consideration.

BTW, what are my turn threads named here....

Oops, looked for the games here, and found that all are officially at ACOL, which makes me feel better, so ignore above but for the remark about CGN being in the lead.

Blarney:

Over at ACOL I indicated that the turn threads are being kept there, not at 'Poly.

Reason was that when the avatars were first introduced, loading times here at 'Poly were snailpaced, causing many players just to say "what the heck" and not post a turn. ACOL's was quicker.

So all six gameturn tracks are over at ACOL

LOL, Blarney - crosspost (I wondered why my reply page was so slow in loading)

We breathlessly await the analysis of match # 2 to see if Misotu/big_canuck are redeeming Apolyton's honour.

Stay tuned ..........

Match # 2 results now in

CGN ........ 1871
Apolyton ... 1401
ACOL ....... 1182

(Audit year - 2145)

I'll update standings on the 15th of each month - wherever each match is at that point - rather than on a MY basis
