Changing Civ Rulers Portraits?
Hey hey, just thought of something civ related that i can actually, ask you guys!!!!!
I'm doing a scenario, and i was thinking that it's be good to put different portraits of the rulers on. I've been around the net search for city names, and have found 100's of images i could use? Put i can't remember off the top of my head if it's possible to change them in the game? any help from you guys would be nice!! Cheers

Yeah, I know that program too
Just thought I'd point out that you can just put the new dll files into the scenerio's folder and expect them to appear in whenever you load that scenerio (like the gifs and txt files do)
You need to copy the new dlls into the civ2 directory or they wont work

Don't mention scanning, it's a sore point around here!!!!! we've got 1 scanner between about 50 of us at work, and it's on a guys pc, so he has to be off for us to us it!! so we complained and they get us some networked scanners, which are nice, they're pretty, and they're fast and they work well, except they only scan in pdf?!!? i mean who the **** uses pdf? i certainly don't!!!!! i had to scan, open it, grab the screen with windows, paste into Paint, save, open in ms photo editor and save as a jpg, just to e-mail it!!!!! argh!!!!!!!!!!!
So to answer your question: sometimes!!

Prometeus, maybe you should e-mail it along to Apolyton and see if they want to put it somewhere on the civ2 section.

Second tip: remember, ask permission first... actually i can't remeber where i found that prog, so:
First > i can't ask for permission;
Second > without permission i can't send the prog to League, sorry

I've just been reading this topic and I wanted to ask can I download this program to change portraits, or can you e-mail it to me as well. Thanx a lot.
