I've found them fairly reliable for stuff that was late released or never released in Europe - certainly nothing like two weeks to deliver, four days or so is the longest I recall (this is assuming you fork out for International Priority, of course).

Well I am having it delivered to work so I will be sure to post here... of course once I get home, what with it being a full screen application, I will be unable to do anything but play

And having forked out for super-duper-maximum-priority-urgent delivery, I am expecting it to arrive the week of the 30th.

Well I checked out two retailers yesterday. Game said that the game will be released on the 16th November, which seemed to be the same of what EB UK have been saying. However I went into Virgin and they seemed totally and utterly bewildered by what I had asked them. They said 'do you mean Civ2' and then said 'There is no Civ3, don't believe everything you read in computer magazines'. At this point, I realised asking him anything else would be completely futile and left. Wan<x>ker

They are the same company, so I'm not suprised their release date is the same. As for that Virgin Megastore, I'm not suprised
Did you check Gamestation? They release quite early.

at all th0mas and tishco

I never realised Game and EB were one and the same, well that would probably explain the similarity in dates. GameStation? I can't say I have seen one of those, although as you probably visit Hull quite regularly Haphazard, it is probably just the result of me not noticing. Is it down Prospect Street by any chance?

As for Virgin, they will find the weather in their vicinity turning decidedly nasty to downpours of fire and brimstone

EB bought out Game a couple of years ago. Didn't you notice they have exactly the same release board and prices?

Yep. Just opposite the Prospect Centre. Might sell Civ for £25 on release, just ask for the discount They're good like that.
