Prince while I figure out the mechanics and strategies. Keep at it until I can beat it comfortably and then move up.

I'll go for Warlord. I don't want the enemy civs to roll over and wave their feet in the air from the begining but I trust in the fact the AI will know the game better than me.
Besides, and I know this makes me subject to ridicule, it was always touch and go for me on anything higher than prince so........

Winning would be impossible, but I think surviving until 2050 will be pretty easy (especially if you play as English/Japanese)
