Modpack utility

I seem to recall there once being a utility for Civ 2 that allowed easy switching between modpacks without all the messy saving & moving unit & rules files. Does anyone know if this is still around and if it works? I'm a lazy SOB and there a few mods I would like to try without troubling myself too much.

I think you`re talking about the Modpack Switcher, which I believe is avaliable from the Apolyton database. You only really need it if you don`t have FW.
