Cartographers wanted!

Any cartographer (mapmaker) interested in creating a Ctp2 large map of the enclosed picture. I tried it but couldn't get it to look right. Here is a zipped file. If it is too big to post, then just e-mail me at wesleytheman@hotmail.com

hello I have had a look at the map you want to be put in to ctp2.

The problem is that the small islands make it very hard to get the map right if you got rid of the small islands maybe but then it would be completely different and may not of use in a pirate scenario something I think you are going for in this map.

Okay.... hmm...

Looking at the map, it's not bad... but the problem will lie in the lack of detail, and the scale you wish to have. While doing the islands isn't really a problem.. it would be a post production addition... my concern is with the lack of detail. I have no idea what is on the major islands, if there are rivers, if this area is equatorial or polar... what are the indigenous goods/animals... the depth of oceans, or the presence of continental shelves... while making a map like the one you have would be really easy using just grassland and shallow water I don' t think that you'd enjoy it too much. I did work on a middle earth map before and it's not bad... you need to provide more info if I intend on pursuing this map as a short term project.
