Looking for players...

Hey folks,

I've finally got my system sorted out and have started playing bits and peices of multiplayer games. I want to start a new game though, with 1-3 other players.

I've made up a game with these specs (no turns as yet):
- Large map
- Modern Age start
- Anything goes, no restrictions
- No time limits on turns

I think that's about all that's of immediate importance as far as the game's concerned.

My availability is pretty good. My time zone is UTC+10 (Australia). The best I've beaten the AI on is Very Hard. Haven't had time to play an Impossible game yet. I'll play against anyone though.

I'll add that there's 8 players total (but limit humans to 4), and the map is quite islandy...

OK, I'm changing the map slightly, with these specs :

- Max Islands
- Max Goods
- Heavily in favour of water over land

I figure it'll be a Navy or AirPower dominated game, which suits me as I'm good at AirPower (relatively speaking) and pretty crap at Navy warfare. I guess I'll learn fast though.

Starting from the Modern Era, it won't be long before Sea Engineers are available, so expansion off land would be available before long no doubt.

OK, a few more details:

- 1000 gold to start with
- 3 settlers to start with
- Doughnut world
- 'Regular' size map ('Large' isn't an option...)
