No Mongols
I miss the civilization of Mongols from Civ I. It is a pity that it is not included in Civ III. They were my favorite civilization. Not that I liked playing for (or as) them, but they were my best enemies. Their strategy of game was the most interesting, not that it was somewhat more challenging (it's still AI, after all) - just more fun to compete with. As far as I remember they were the only civ that broke the peace treaties an a constant basis. They were the best.
So what I am writing this for?
Ah, yes... There must be some civilization in Civ III that behaves like Mongols did in Civ I. Which one do you suppose that would be?

Faboba should become a mod cause - I'd only use my powers to do good. I would move certain threads to certain more appropriate folders for example.
As for the question WHO KNOWS?!?!
All we know is that all the civs act differently. So until anyone gets the game we don't know how ANY civs act like. Let alone which civ acts, in your opinion, like the mongols acted in your opinion in civ one.

I think I remember Dan saying that the Babylonians (I think) consistently stabbed him in the back so yeah!
But of course I'm sure we'll see Mongols on October 31st...

The zulus, being expansionistic and militaristic, seem to me to be the closest replacement for the mongols. I'm envisioning this large army constantly pushing outwards and conquering everything in its path.

Yes, as for Spaniards not acceptable.
I think Arab an Turkish civ should be obligatory as well.
More than Sioux or Iroquis...

I love how people say, unacceptable, like the game is being made just for you. The power is in the hands of the designer, mostly. They tried to get a broad range of civs and your personal preference does not go into their calculations.
Sure, Firaxis listens to their fans (else they wouldn't exist) and that's why they've created that wonderful new editor which allows you to tailor the game to your wants and make your own civs. Oh what, then your personal preference does go into their calculations. Nevermind
