a) DSL
b) home based business that is online ( www.blacksunrise.com ), so the computer is always fired up. I stay on top of email so that I can provide betetr customer service
c) I enjoy the games much more the further into them we get, but REALLY HATE when games fail. the further into a game we all get, the more we have invested in playing.
d) playing fast encourages the same from others.
the only time I don't play a turn immediately is if I'm either at my night job or sleeping.

It's uncanny how often our "perceptions" of how fellow Apolytoners look are borne out in reality - maybe just the names we pick for ourselves. I was close with you, spot on with Vel and ZsoZso, but totally flummoxed with Mostu.

Yes, Gunship 001 is the one you encountered. 002 was on routine security patrol, and found more than he bargained for. It looked like he would lose a straight up combat, so he settled for a bombardment, but if the Isle turns, we fear our poor crew will be lost at sea.
