Customizing calendars
I inadvertently posted this in the strategy forum...

I would like to modify the calendar for a scenario such that the whole timeline is simply shifted backward. I want to start about 9600 B.C. and end about 1840 A.D. The catch is I would like to use the default time track where the turns get shorter and shorter as time progresses and are different for each level of play. Is this possible to do?

NOTE: I can get the year 9600 B.C. to appear by setting the current game year to -111, but then I forego the use of events, because I cannot specify negative turn numbers.

Any suggestions?
