i'm second in my kingdom (2:5) in net worth but i'm short on cash  . how can i get more income? i'm built a bunch of mines and banks and am researching alchemy any other ways?

I am currently the largest of my Kd...I also have the highest networth...(295 acres/$ 13,024 NW) 
But for ways to make money:
funny enough...barren land is a way to make money...because your utilization will be higher...so your banks will be more effective...

You might aswell build houses in those barren lands so more people can move in, you will then have a bigger work force to spread across more buildings, and you will have more people to tax.

dpa = defense per acre
defense specialists are 0/4
So...to have 20 dpa...you need 5 def-specs per acre...
You can also go all-elite depending on your tactic...but I'm a Halfling playing with a Mage/Thief-tactic...so going all-elite has no use for me...
