Why, if they keep getting destroyed turn after turn, are the British still launching offensives into Gallipolli? You should have that event happen just once, considering that not even the Admiralty was that stupid.

Yes, actually they were. Forces were continually committed to Gallipoli to be ground into hamburger well after it became apparent that the offensive was going nowhere.
Now, that aside, back to the subject at hand and no more evasions. Please explain the presence of your interesting fighter planes.

I screwed up with the plutonium converter. But it's fixed. But the planes are still there.

And, I'm commanding that operation, NO MORE LANDINGS at Gallipoli. Particularly considering the monetary losses, it's impossible to make any money. You should either disable that monetary loss for the more simple units or stop these events that are silly. Instead of creating the troops you may as well cut my purse and run a little text message which costs less time and event space.

I just try to spend everything I happen to somehow earn each turn, that way, no money gets taken away by stupid infantry deaths

You need to disband them and use the shields to build planes that you are actually supposed to have during this period.

Why should the rest of us be bound to following the requirements of the rules.txt file while you do not? Should I instead start using a separate rules.txt file as well?

Hardly. Either disband them, or I'll start building things like chlorine gas, howitzers, stormtroops, and my own advanced fighters.

Here's the turn, sorry for the wait, nothing much happened. I'm going out of town today for a week, so my preemptive excuse for not playing my Confederate turn is that I'm out of town

The New York Times
Victories at Sea
Ships of the US Atlantic Fleet have scored several sucesses over the British Atlantic blockade squadron. According to the War Office, US Naval forces have sunk a British battleship, a cruiser and a destroyer without losing a ship.
Troop Buildup in Tennessee?
Sources within the War Department have recently told the Times that a new US Army formation named Army Group Tennessee has been recently been formed.
The Times cannot confirm this report, but if it is true then military experts believe that the Army Group's goal would be to relieve the siege of Richmond by attacking Confederate Focres in Georgia or the Carolinas. This view is supported by the recent naval and artillery attacks on Confederate forces in Virginia and the railway-busting raids which have prevented the Confederacy moving reinforements from the Trans-Mississippi to the Eastern States.

I want to lodge a complaint against people who put their ships to rest on mines.
And all my aircraft has been removed from the front lines...
*grumbles*
When are we supposed to load part 3?

Stay away from my coasts then Limey
BTW, were you using your aircraft to shoot up my units on the Canadian border? Last turn I finally noticed that I was getting a bit thin up there (this weakness is now most definetly fixed)

Sorry, I played this a couple days ago, and forgot to post it. Nothing noteworthy happening, other than that I whole heartedly agree that yellowbellied ships who hide behind their little mine fields need to come out and face the whooping the deserve!

Jimmy's taken a job where he won't have regular access to the internet so he's pulled out of all his PBEMs untill he gets back in a couple of months.
While he didn't make an anoucnement, he did contact people to take over his turns in his PBEMs (I 'replaced' him in the GNB game and Grothgar took over his turn in the Raging Dragon game)

Hi!!
I think you're in need of a player for the French Empire. You're in luck here I’m . So if you're all agreeing with me I would be honoured to be a part in this wonderful game as it is part of my scenario-collection a long time ago. I love it.
Sincerely

Whoever's playing France
Markus, seeing as it doesn't look like Jimmywax delegated France to anyone, you're more then welcome to take over
You'll need to look through the last few pages of this thread to find the latest files, and the events & rules need to be set to late 1915 (someone correct me if I'm wrong)

As said before I love to play this scenario and therefore I was following your thread the whole time and I downloaded every update, yes I admit it: I’m a anonymous downloader .. So as we are in late 1915 now I suppose I should use 1915b? Am I right?

er, I think that you just need to run the .bat file and select late 1915...
BTW, if the French are passworded, PM [Private Message] Grothgar and he should be able to send you Jimmy's password
