Well, it's only natural for my faction, right? (You'll know what I'm talking about once you play the turn.)

I haven't been posting lately, too busy. 2164 to comstar. Please note, my new email address is nickist@sympatico.ca. I'll check the other one for awhile still though.

I know. I'm just being a wiseass.
It's not like Comstar is here very often... and if you recall, I had a nice long stretch w/o posting, as well.

I don't have the turn, just felt like posting since I haven't been to the forums in weeks. So far a good game. I suspect it will get really interesting in about 20 turns or so, now that we've all found each other.

How unfortunate that I'm losing interest in the game, just as things get interesting. The thing is, things are even more interesting in RL, right now. Within the month, either I or a friend of mine may have a girlfriend (may the best man win). I don't want to play SMAC right now. I'm not playing Civ3, nor Dragon Warrior 7, nor any other computer game. Spring is coming, and I am far too restless to sit at my computer.

Ahh nuts. Oh Well.
However, I know excatly what you mean, I had the same problem about 2 years ago in a TOAW II campagain. Just got tired of having to open WinZip so often .
Hope we can find a replacement!
(Reason I don't post here much is the forum crashes netscape 4.7 a lot, and we we're doing 1-2 turns every day anyway ).
For any prosprective players- the Cybernetic C is in a good position to my north. We are peaceful and have not had a war (and I didn't expect to). Trading is good. I'd be willing to help anyone who came in if they needed it.

Hi:
I sent Ironwood a note yesterday that I would take the game but haven't heard back yet. When I do I'll move the game along quickly as I try to move as many games through on weekends and at least one per day otherwise!
Talk to you all later.

I am sorry to see Ironwood go, I was enjoying the game as it stood. However, these things happen. I have no problem with you joining, radman. Things are just getting interesting here, as we have all developed to a reasonable level and have just recently come into contact. So far it's more of a builder's game than anything else, and that's fine with me.

Actually, having been replaced in AHAC1, I am more enthused about remaining in this game. One game should do well; there were just a few days where I literally got three games worth of turns a day, and didn't like it much (the games sped up considerably). Just this one should do nicely. Sorry, Radman.

Actually, no. We traded tech *this* turn.
Mr. Alien Artifact enabled me to catch up and become an equal trading partner. (I'd have passed you guys *way* up if I'd cashed all my artifacts for tech, but instead, I used them to help the construction of the Virtual World.) Remember those boats? Nearly every pod they found (before the Isle) was an Artifact!

The Peace of Planet is being delibety and wilfly being broken by the so called and self appointed "Cononal" Santiago.
In an effet to keep the peace and keep Planet on it's course, The United Nations has declared sanctions on the warmoungering S. The Security Council wishes to thank Chad Dawn in her effots to curb the power mad and insane disbalys from S.
By order of Security Council Resoultion 19383.424 Subsection 24.1C, no trade, reasearch matetrials or energy is to be supplied, and is not to be conducted with S until she has seen the error of he ways and been brought back into the peaceful family of nations.
Punative strikes will continue until S allows weapon inspectors in to make sure S can not harm the peace of Planet again.
It is intended to allow S to keep some cities to remain a viable nation post-war negotains have been finalised.

It would appear Santiago is attempting to form an axis of evil intent on disrupting my research and life. Beware, Santiago, beware.

Ok, Ironwood is MIA. We need to find another player if he doesn't reappear soon. Ironwood? Are you there?

I didn't receive it last time for some reason, but I received it and sent it on to comstar this time. Game on.
I like the peaceful builder aspect of this game. It's a nice contrast to most of the other, more bloodthirsty games I am in. IE. AHAC.
However, I don't imagine it will last forever. Santiago is trying to stir something up.

LOL. Fair enough Mongoose, but I try to play my games in character as much as possible. That game is titled All Humans All Conflict after all. And I am playing Spartans in it. Stands to reason I'd be a bloodthirsty havoc wreaker doesn't it? This one, on the other hand, I am playing Zak, and perfectly happy to build and do my research in peace.
