Taking requests for overseas questions.
I have the game, but can't play for another 5 hours when I get home from work. Anybody have a question that hasn't already been answered? Let me know.

AI
How's the overall AI? Is it reasonable?

Especially in the end game, do you get "French and Germans have signed the Paris-pact to contain Zulu aggression" (repeat 30 times) everybody-against-you syndrome?

Or can you really make friends through trading and sticking together?

Also, have you tried the 16-civs in one game? Does it add to the fun or does it bog down the game?

Thanks!
Stefan.

OK guys, I am heading home now I'll load up the game and see what I can find. Some of the end-game questions will take some time to answer, but I will answer them in due time.

The only scenarios I saw were the Earth Map scenarios. Though, I only took a quick look and may have missed something.

Dissapointing I couldn't start in Britian, it didn't give me the option, but I was close by. In my test run, I took a scout and ran around a bit. In the screen shot, I am standing in Africa facing spain. Spain can only hold about one city, so even though I can't see Britian, I can only imagine how small it is.

I'll have to actually play the game to answer the rest. Keep questions coming.

Apparantly there isn't an option to pick historical locations on the world maps. However is there an option in the editor to specifically choose the starting location of the civs?

If not, can a resourceful scenario maker out there create a scenario in 4000BC on the large map and specifically place each faction in it's historical location and also give each faction their regular starting techs, units and attributes?

that world map looks even smaller than the other one I've seen a lot of pictures of, and I thought THAT one sucked immensely. But at leasy there is still the ability for that 256x256 map.
Any idea if the editor supports scanning pictures? I'm pretty sure Railroad Tycoon had that, and so does the Cossacks European Wars expansion.
The maps are bad, but we have the technology, we can rebuild them and make them better, stronger and faster than before.

@The Rook: Thx for quick answering
Another question. When you disband a unit, get you some shields back to your production queue like in civ2. Does this also works with wonders?
