Info on the LE from Amazon.com
As I already earlier told in an earlier posting,
I have sent an inquiry to Amazon.com for
further information on the LE shipments
to non-US customers.
Here's their reply:Greetings from Amazon.com.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. There is a chance that your order may not ship because of shipping restrictions. If your order does not ship, we could return your check funds to you per your request. However, according to our records, we have not yet received your payment. Please note that it typically takes 2-3 weeks for us to receive and process checks or money orders sent within the U.S., and about one month to receive and process international checks or money orders. If you did not include your e-mail address with your payment, this may increase the processing time.
Once we receive your check you can use the funds to place another order for a different item, or if you wish we can request that our billing department return your check to you. If you wish to have your check returned, please reply as soon as possible so that we can notify our billing department.
We will send you an e-mail notification on the day that your payment is entered into your account. Please note that we do not begin processing check orders until payment has been received.
