I liked your map! Great fun!
I like the big V shaped continent. Unlike CIV-generated maps, you have full mountain ranges, and not just mountains, and actual deserts, and not just a desert square here or there.
I also like the number of rivers, and having rivers go through mountains and forests. I played a standard game on it. Of course, the rivers do allow a human to expand really fast... I was the
Romans and staked out a big part of the big continent.
The island cluster was very interesting, nice mix land and
ocean accessible squares.
The only balance issue I saw is that for starting from scratch, the computer civ's on the island area are at a disadvantage, but
for a scenario it would make an interesting naval power.
Too bad Civ2 AI isn't better about naval
power and invasions...
