Road and RR Movement
How do you alter how many moves you get on Roads and RRs? Thanks if you can help.
Also, how do I change my Apolyton PW?

You can't alter the "infinite" movement rate of railroads.
To alter the movement rate of roads, simply modify the first cosmic value in the rules.txt file. Note that the "road movement multiplier" also affects the max movement range, where max_movement*movement_multiplier < 127.
Hope that helps!

Of course, units with the "all as roads" flag toggled on will also move that much.

Go down to the Terrain section of rules.txt (after the units I think). The first number after each terrain type is the number of points required to enter the space. You can set this to zero if you want.

Thanks for the help...I want to make the mountains unpassable--or something of the like...
Yes, my password--sorry about the acronym, I was in a bit of a hurry. Here I go with another question--
How do you get a civilization to use a particular city style? I set the default, but it won't cooperate. It's awfully frustrating.

Tsar Grigori - at the bottom of this page is a link to the Scenario League, which is hosted by Apolyton. There are several very helpful written guides there that you may find interesting. Also, there is a Scenario League forum here at Apolyton that is similar to this "Creation" forum. Check it out!

Yep, only problem is that roads actually slow down movement!
