City Size Numbers

This is just a very simple query, and the answer is almost certainly no, but...

Does anyone know any way to remove or hide the size number that appears next to a city?

Well, I would say no.

If you try to hide it, by putting down the blue dots on the green border (you know what I am talking about, don't you?), the game automatically places it on the top left corner, which usually is a very good place for it.

Jesús Balsinde was able to hide the number of the Marañón tribe's city by using the black tiles at the edge of the map in his El Dorado scenario.
