What do I do?
Okay, I figured out most of the scenario thing, except for on thing... how do I add civs to my scenario? I deleted the civs I started with when beginning the Scenario because they were not the civs I wanted to use. I concentrated on the main civ that I wanted to concentrate on and develop. Now, that my main civ has a good base, I want to add the rival civs. But how do I do that? I also want to give them unique names not in the original game.

In my scenario experience I have never been able to bring back other civs that I killed in the beginning. So I always start with 7 and when I finished the scenario I will kill off the spare settlers. As for changing the Civ name I think that can be done in the edit king menu under the cheat menu.

I've had to restart several scenarios because I had too few civs so I hope that someone else know how to bring them back so it can save you the trouble.

As far as I know, you might have a chance of bringing back a dead civ. This requires you to have NOT disabled "restarting eliminated players".

Save your scenario as a scn file, play it and capture the capital city of an enemy - cheat if you have to. That faction will lose half its cities to another, which will be a newly-made civ. Then by reallocation cities as proper, you can slowly rebuild the new civ to be what you want.

Also don't forget that you can Destroy cities very easily by disbanding them normally - Shift + D when the icon is on them.
