That said, I've been pushed back to Chieftan difficulty level while I learn the ropes.

I'm sure as soon as Ming, RAH, War4Ever, WarVoid, or Xin Yu get the game we'll be seeing the really degenerately powerful strategies applied to Civ3.

...oh, wait, half of those are Aussies, and don't get the game yet? Oh well...
