I changed the civ colours - and now the game doesn't work

The game was running fine for me, and I had changed the civ colours before with out any problems. But I have just changed them again, and now the game crashes when I end the first turn. I tried reinstalling... but the problem persists (using the previous custom colours that had worked)

Any ideas? or does anyone have backup of the mod file?. I forgot to make a backup of the original and only have one with the colour scheme that worked the first time, so it'd save me from reinstalling again.
