Golden age question
I have not found a lot of information in the manuel on this. I was wonder if someone could explain the effects it has on your civ.

I have only triggered a golden age by building wonders, that the only way? maybe culter helps?

thanks, just want to clear this up

Golden age gives extra output on every single square.

It triggered by a wonder or by a civ-specivic unit that wins a battle.

That means that civs with early civ-specific units (Babylonians,...) get their golden age pretty quick while others (Americans,...) usually triggers it by wonders or have to wait a loooooong time for it.

Still a debate going on what's best ; an early golden age to give your civ a head start or a golden age in the latter game.

By extra output he means one extra shield, and one extra commerce in every square already producing one.
